April 19: Third Sunday of Easter:
In this Sunday’s Gospel, as we hear the story of the disciples on the road to Emmaus. We also come to know that our daily reaching out to our neighbor is our daily walk with the risen Christ; we recognize him in others.
This month, through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul brought the love and care of Jesus to the poor by assisting two households behind on rent due to illness and unemployment, serving 58 families through the Lenten Food Drive, and providing a hot meal and lunch bag to 15 neighbors at the monthly Community Meal. Thank You for recognizing and helping your neighbors!
Abril 19: Tercer Domingo de Pascua.
En el Evangelio de este Domingo, al oír la historia de los discípulos en el camino de Emaús, también llegamos a saber que nuestro acercamiento diario al prójimo es nuestro caminar cotidiano con el Cristo resucitado; Lo reconocemos en los demás.
Este mes, a través de sus donaciones, la Sociedad de
San Vicente de Paúl llevó el amor y el cuidado de Jesús a los pobres al asistir a dos hogares con retrasos en el pago del alquiler debido a enfermedades y desempleo, servir a 58 familias a través de la Colecta de Alimentos de Cuaresma y proporcionar una comida caliente y una bolsa de almuerzo a 15 vecinos durante la Comida Comunitaria mensual. ¡Gracias por reconocer y ayudar a sus vecinos!
