Dear Parishioners,
I am overwhelmed by the warm well-wishes and efforts that went into the beautiful celebration last weekend in my honor. I would like to thank in a very special way our parish leadership group which did all the heavy lifting, supported by the parish staff, witnesses, ministers,
volunteers and attendees who dedicated their time to making it a great event.
Not having sent out any personal invitations, I was humbled that people from all of my assignments came, including my first assignment as a deacon. What touched me in an extremely special way was when Cameron Taft, the young boy we have been praying for who almost drowned, came with a whole table of family members. Cameron and his family have really inspired me to never give up hope, because where there is life, there is hope.
Thank you for all your love and support over the years, and know that you all have my prayers, love and support in return.
God be with you,
Father Jim
