Used Scout Uniforms Wanted

A Scout is Kind. A Scout is Thrifty. During your Spring cleaning, you may discover some gently used Boy Scout, Cub Scout or Venturing
uniforms (shirt and pants) that your child has outgrown or does not need anymore. Troop 894 will gladly take them off your hands and
share with Scouts in our troop and around our area, especially with those who can’t afford a uniform or have quickly outgrown the one
they had. The uniforms can be 1 year old or 25 years old (Scout uniforms may change, but all Scout uniforms are “within regulation”), just as long as they are clean and suitable to wear. You do not have to remove any patches on the shirts, unless you want to keep them. Please contact Lyzette Austen at vandergiggs@gmail.com, and we will make arrangements to pick up your donation. Loving Care Egg Basket

On March 25 & 26 the Respect Life Committee began their annual Loving Care Egg Basket collection, formerly Jane’s Egg Basket for the Well of Mercy and the Women’s Center, to benefit mothers and babies in need. If you took a plastic eggs with a suggested donation of baby items or cash  after Mass please remember to return it April 1st, and 2nd and April 8th and April 9th. Thank you for your generosity and support of this special collection for moms in need.

Lenten Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered at a special time, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, April 3. Individual confessions in the church will be offered in English or in Spanish. During Holy Week, take this time to strengthen your desire for personal change as a follower of Christ, to make room for the Risen Lord to come into your heart this Easter, and to receive His forgiveness and mercy. Those with older children can attend as a family and give witness to one another’s joy as you receive God’s forgiveness through your confession and absolution. Please consider this opportunity. There will be no confessions available during the Paschal Triduum: Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday, April 6-8.
RECONCILIACIÓN ANTES DE LA PASCUA
El Sacramento de la Reconciliación se ofrecerá en un horario especial, de 7 p.m. a 8:30 p.m. el lunes, 3 de abril. Las confesiones individuales en la iglesia se ofrecerán en inglés o en español. Tómese este tiempo durante la Semana Santa, para fortalecer su deseo de cambio personal como seguidor de Cristo, para hacer espacio para que el Señor Resucitado entre en su corazón esta Pascua y para recibir Su perdón y misericordia. Aquellos con hijos mayores pueden asistir como familia y dar testimonio del gozo de los demás al recibir el perdón de Dios a través de su confesión y absolución. Por favor, considere esta oportunidad. Tenga en cuenta que no habrá confesiones disponibles durante el Triduo Pascual: Jueves Santo, Viernes Santo y Sábado de Gloria, del 6 al 8 de abril.

Lenten Stations of the Cross

Please join us in church each Friday in Lent to walk with Jesus in the Stations of the Cross. Stations will be held at 6:30 p.m. in English. Eucharistic Benediction is included in the service. Follow in the footsteps of Jesus on the Way of Sorrows through this meaningful Lenten devotion. Ponder and pray over the pains and sacrifices of modern life as you are moved by the trials Jesus faced on the cross. This is a great faith opportunity for adults or families of all ages to pray together in a timeless Catholic devotion.
