Join a summer small faith group
All are welcome to be a part of one of ten small faith groups that are being piloted this summer.
Ten families are opening up their homes to six other parishioners, to reflect on scripture and share
stories about life and faith. It is not scripture study, but rather parishioners walking together in faith.
There will be five sessions of ninety minutes each. By following a specific lesson each week, each participant can share at their comfort level around scripture, gifts of our faith, and living out our faith for the week.
Approximate locations, days of the week, and times are listed. All over eighteen are welcome, and you are encouraged to sign up for two available slots. Once assigned, your small faith group leader will contact you with the address.

Community Meal Program Expanding, Volunteers Needed
All are welcome to share a hot meal and community time at Queen of Apostles Parish this summer through the parish’s St. Vincent DePaul Society’s community meal program.
The program is expanding to twice a month, and meals will be served on the second and fourth Sundays of the month (June 14 and 28 and July 12 and 26) from 6 to 7 p.m. in Holy Family Hall, the lower church, at 2330 W. Sunnyside (just east of Western Ave.). Everyone who attends will be warmly welcomed, served a hot meal, and offered additional to-go food items.
Volunteers are also needed for a variety of tasks including food preparation and serving, setup, greeting, and more. Volunteer slots are available here or call Jim Hohner at 773-315-1231. Donations to the program can be made here.

Todos son bienvenidos a compartir una comida caliente y tiempo comunitario en la Parroquia Reina de los Apóstoles este verano a través del programa de comidas comunitarias de la Sociedad de San Vicente de Paúl de la parroquia.
El programa se ampliará a dos veces al mes, y las comidas se servirán los segundos y cuartos domingos del mes (14 y 28 de junio y 12 y 26 de julio) de 6 a 7 p.m. en el Salón de la Sagrada Familia, la iglesia inferior, en 2330 W. Harvest Jam planning meeting June 22
All parishioners and school parents from Queen of Angels, St. Matthias, and religious education are invited to attend a kick-off planning meeting for Harvest Jam on Monday, June 22 at 6:30 pm in the Parish Center.
Come and learn about this fun, community event and how you might be able to make it a success. Attending the meeting is not a commitment; just come and find out more about what is in store. Committee members work on setup, volunteer recruitment, games, food, music, ticket sales, and more. There is a way for everyone to contribute.
