Girl Scout Troop Leader Openings
The Queen of Apostles Girl Scout Troops are excited about the next school year. As you may know, there are girls in our community from Kindergarten to 11th grade who take part in Girl Scouts. They attend many neighborhood schools including Waters and Queen of Angels. While we are not exactly sure how next year will look, we are looking for some amazing leaders to join our team to help guide the girls as they complete journeys and earn badges. We are currently looking for a leader and co-leader for the Daisy Troop. We also need a co-leader for the Caddettes. Daisy Scouts are in kindergarten and first grade. We have had leaders of all different ages, mothers, fathers, aunts, community members, and more. There are former Daisy Leaders who can help you out and get you started and the Girl Scouts offer training. Actually, we are always looking for Assistant Leaders, especially this year, or additional adult volunteers that can help during troop meetings so even if you are not wanting to take on a whole troop, we can always use your help! If you’re interested in learning more, please email Colleen Herman at <colleen.herman@gmail.com> for further details. Stay tuned for details regarding registration for next year!
