The annual national Collection for the Church in Latin America (CLA) will be the weekend of January 22-23. This campaign highlights the faith of Latin America and the many opportunities we have to share faith with them. We also recognize the tremendous benefit of having our Latin American brothers and sisters in the Church and the revitalization their fervor brings to the faith. In addition to offering our help and support to the Catholics of Latin America, we have much to learn from them. Help strengthen families, fund Catholic education, and foster priestly and religious vocations by giving to the Collection for the Church in Latin America. For over 50 years, Catholics in the United States have expressed solidarity with the Church from Mexico to the Caribbean, to the southern tip of South America through the Collection. Eucharistic Adoration will be offered for about an hour after the 8:30am Mass until 10am each Friday. Adoration will take place in the renovated Apostles Adoration Chapel, a side room of the church located behind the statue of the Blessed Mother. Come for Mass and stay for Adoration, or stop by to pray during your morning errands. Through quiet prayer, let us give thanks and bring our most personal needs to Jesus who is truly present in the Eucharist.
The Arts and Environment Committee is in need of volunteers on Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 2:30pm-5pm to help take down the
Christmas trees, poinsettias and the Nativity scene and returnthem to their storage areas in the church at the end of the Christmas season. Please come and offer your help to the Parish. For more information contact the Parish Center office at 773-539-7510.
