I am looking for a small team of volunteers to manage the environment and seasonal decorating of our church. This is a wonderful and fulfilling opportunity to contribute to the beauty of your church and liturgy. I am happy to meet with you to discuss the details of this

QofA Employment Opportunities

We currently have three open positions in the Queen of Apostles Rectory and Parish Center:

  • Housekeeping in the Rectory three days a week, fifteen hours a week, with laundry, shopping, light
    cleaning, and cooking three meals.
  • Two part-time receptionists in the Parish Center on Monday thru Thursday evenings from 5pm-8pm and
    on Saturdays from 9am-1pm. The schedule is meant to be shared between the two receptionists with only
    one person in the office at a time. Spanish speaking is preferable.

My dear friends,

Thank you again so much for all the beautiful farewell messages and cards of thanks you sent me for my Retirement and 50th Anniversary of my Priesthood. Following my retirement on June 30, I took a restful vacation to Florida for two weeks. I am back inthe area now at my new residence at Incarnation and St. Terrence Parish in Crestwood, where I will be helping out with a few Masses and some ministries as I reinvent myself as a Senior Priest with God’s help.

SPRED Needs Catechist Helpers

In last weeks Gospel, Jesus called his Apostles to go out and help the needy, those who were sick, raise the dead and cure the Lepers. SPRED needs Helper Catechist for the coming fall season. We are looking for anyone from the ages of 25 and up, to be a friend to our friends who look forward to being with others, praying, and singing as a community. As a Leader Catechist, I have found our friends have so much to teach us, each time we gather is an experience of love and joy. I hope that the same way Jesus called his Apostles to service, you will consider joining the SPRED community.
