Christmas Tree Sales Volunteers Needed
For 20+ years, the Annual Queen of Angels Christmas Tree Sale has been the go-to for friends and families of our community to find the perfect Christmas tree or wreath to decorate their home. This tradition, spearheaded by the QofA Men’s Club, has become an instant community builder among its volunteers and also one of our parish and school’s largest fundraisers.
Volunteer duties include customer service, trimming and tethering trees, payment processing and clean-up. Fire pit and firewood are provided to stay warm. A Men’s Club representative will provide an orientation and support to those shifts that are new to this event.
This is a really fun volunteer event. Good shifts go fast. Here are some bullet points:
- 3-hour shifts (4 people per shift)
- Weeknights and weekends November 24th thru December 17th
- Review the available slots and click on the link below sign up

Questions? Please contact Rich Clark, Men’s Club member, at 312-961-9518. Thank you and a VERY Merry Christmas to each of you!

PRAYER FOR DEPARTED LOVED ONES
God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command, we return to dust.
Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for my family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.
In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.
Amen.
ORACIÓN POR LOS SERES QUERIDOS DIFUNTOS
Dios Padre nuestro,
Quienes murieron y ahora viven,
pueden regocijarse en Tu reino,
donde todas nuestras lágrimas son borradas.
Únenos de nuevo en una familia,
para cantar Tu alabanza por los siglos de los siglos.
Amén.
