The QofA Senior Social Club invites all Seniors to join them for their upcoming events.

  • Friday, June 6, 2025, 10:30 a.m. MOVIE, Guns of Navorone, a 1961 action-adventure war film directed by J. Lee Thompson from a screenplay by Carl Foreman, based on Alistair MacLean’s 1957 novel. Foreman also produced the film. The film stars Gregory Peck, David Niven and Anthony Quinn, along with Stanley Baker, Anthony Quayle, Irene Papas, Gia Scala, Richard Harris and James Darren. The book and the film share a plot: the efforts of an Allied commando unit to destroy a seemingly impregnable German fortress that threatens Allied naval ships in the Aegean Sea.  Watch it at the Parish Center, 4412 N Western Avenue, Conference Rooms 1 & 2 or via Zoom. 
  • Saturday, June 7, 2025, 5:00 p.m. Mass; 6:30 p.m. Terrace Reception; 7:00 p.m. PARISH CELEBRATION, Heart of the Apostle. Parish celebration beginning with the 5:00 Mass and followed by dinner at the Dank House. Our own Mario and Rose Caruso will be honored. More information here.
  • Wednesday, June 18, 2025, 9:30 a.m. BREAKFAST at Mi Fogata 4322 N. Western Ave. Join fellow seniors for a breakfast outing at a local restaurant serving Mexican and American Breakfast favorites.
  • Wednesday, August 13, 2025, OUTING, Fiddler on the Roof .  Join fellow seniors a for trip to Skokie for the 2:00 p.m. performace of this classic of Musical Theater at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts.  The tickets are $40, and we’ll carpool from Queens. Please email or call by Monday, June 2 if you are interested in attending.

Eucharistic Adoration followed by Benediction at Queen of Angels Church, 2330 W Sunnyside, in the Apostles Adoration Chapel located behind the statue of the Blessed Mother to the left of the main altar.
