In early April our School Principal Julia Bryns Kelly announced that she would retire at the end of the school year to spend more time with her family of children and grandchildren. She has welcomed and guided many students, parents, and staff members in her 22 years at Queen of Angels, and her final days on staff were last week at the end of June. A retirement car parade was held in her honor on June 1. Principal Kelly writes, “I want to thank our Queen of Angels community in helping to make my years a very special time in my life. I truly have loved my years at Queen of Angels with the students, staff and families who have helped over the years to form this special school community to what it is today. I will miss the students, staff and families very much. I wish you a safe, peaceful and happy summer.” Mrs. Kelly, we are grateful for your leadership, we will miss you greatly, and we wish you all the best in your retirement!
In the coming weeks our community will continue welcoming and getting to know Principal Rana Brizgys, who began as our new School Principal on July 1 and is settling in to her new role. .
